ELECTRIC AND GAS HEATED FURNACES for chemical heat treatment

Electric resistance multipurpose shaft furnaces enable chemical and thermal processing of metals. They are particularly suitable to:

» cementing and nitriding in a process

atmosphere

» box quenching

» tempering and annealing in a process atmosphere

The furnace working area is separated from heating with a metal muffl e of heat-resisting steel. The muffl e is closed with a cover. A ventilator and working media supply inlets are fitted in the furnace cover. A steel circulation insert in the muffl e facilitates a better distribution of the atmosphere in the working area.

The cover is lifted by a hydraulic cylinder and moving aside by manual turn or by electromotor.

A system of controlled cooling of the charge is installed in the furnace. The ventilator blows

cold air in, on the muffle.
