The Ftoroplastovy Sealing Material (FSM) represents nespecheny (not thermoprocessed) ftoroplast 4D (tonkodispersionny modification of a politetraftoretilen). It is made in the form of plaits of three profiles: round, square and rectangular, and also in the form of a tape.
Depending on application of FUM is issued the following brands:
the FUM-V brand - for various hostile environment of common industrial type. Contains greasing "B";
the FUM-F brand - for special working conditions. Contains greasing "F";
the FUM-O brand - for especially pure environments and strong oxidizers. Does not contain greasing.
Ftoroplastovy sealing material FUM is used as chemically resistant, self-greased stuffing and pro-masonry material in knots of shutoff valves, pumps and various consolidations of the chemical equipment, pipelines, and also in the equipment of food and pharmaceutical industry, working under environment pressure to 6,3 MPas and temperature from-60 to +150 °C (FUM-V and FUM-F) and to +200 °C (FUM-O).
It is intended for work with aggressive liquids and gases except for solutions of alkaline metals, three-fluoric chlorine and elementary fluorine.
Tape FUM of brand 1 is a rezbouplotnitelny ftoroplastovy tape. Represents not baked film from a ftoroplast made by expansion of a plait. It is intended for consolidation of threaded connections of pipelines from all materials working in the range of temperatures from-60 to +200 °C and pressure to 9,8 MPas.
Application of a tape for the fittings working with a pressure of 41,2 MPas is allowed.
Color of a tape can be white with various color shades.
Durability at a rupture of tape FUM - not less than 6,86 MPas.
Relative lengthening at a gap - not less than 95%.
It is not toxic, a maslobenzostoyka.
Is issued on TU 6-05-1388-88.
